A list of common winning hands begins with jacks or better, and moves on to 2 pairs, 3 of a kinds, straights, flushes, full houses, four of a kinds, straight flushes and finally royal flushes. It goes without saying that the pay out schedule can change from game to game, so that experienced gamblers are agile enough to choose the most money-making machine every instance.
As soon as the initial round has finished, the player can either decide to stay on and try to to maximize their earnings, or press the ‘collect’ button to retrieve any cash that they may have won. Further, several versions of the game give the player an opportunity to increase their winnings, in which situation another game is played. There are also differences between specific machines, with some decks of cards having wild cards and other differing aspects to increase playability.
